I used a Target Gift Card provided by Maxi-Cosi to purchase the Maxi-Cosi Maxi-Taxi from Target.com on Feb 17, 2015 so that I could share my experience. The process was quite simple. I already have a Target.com account, but if you do not it's very easy to set one up, and saves time on future orders. I logged in to my Target account. After logging in I can easily add items to my cart by clicking on the add to cart button. I added the Maxi-Taxi to my cart and then proceeded to check out. Since I have an account, my preferred shipping address was already in the system. I could easily add a new address if needed, but I was all set for this purchase. After verifying my address we move to billing.

There is a separate choice for shopping with a Target Gift card. You can even use up to four gift cards on your order. You enter the card number where requested and then scratch off the protected backing to reveal the Access #. Once you enter these you can review and finalize your order.

I was told the product was on backorder and would arrive between 3/6- 3/24. I proceeded to order.
As soon as I ordered the Maxi-Taxi, I received an email receipt stating all the info of my order, including the backorder information.
The next day I received an email from Target.com informing me that the delivery would be a little later than previously stated. The new delivery dates were between 4/6-4/22. I was given the option to cancel my order or continue to wait. I was told I would not be charged until the order was shipped. I decided to wait for the item to be in stock.
On 3/29/15 I received an email stating the Maxi-Taxi was on it's way! Included in this email was a tracking number to track my shipment. It arrived quickly on 4/2. I also received an email on 4/2 stating that my package was delivered. This was super handy since I was not home and I messaged my husband for him to bring it into the house. Even though the item took a while to deliver, I did receive it before the scheduled delayed delivery date. I also felt completely in the loop and in control with my order. The multiple emails and updates were greatly appreciated. I love to shop at Target, and the ease of shopping at home can't be beat! I highly recommend shopping at Target.com.
